Alex Ramsay
is a photographer based in the UK, where he lives in the Welsh
Marches and runs Alex Ramsay Photography. He specialises in the
photography of interiors, lifestyle, gardens, architecture and
travel. His photographs appear in many books and leading magazines
worldwide. Recent publications include
The Gardens of Japan, The Gardens of Wales and
Italian Gardens, all by
Helena
Attlee, and
A Glimpse of Heaven: Catholic Churches of England and
Wales, by Christopher Martin.
The next book will be
Italy's Private Gardens: an Inside View, to be published in
October by Frances Lincoln Ltd. He is currently working on two more
UK-based garden books for the same publisher. Studio work
undertaken for many artists, craftspeople and organisations such as
the Sainsbury Foundation. Corporate clients have included Pfizer,
